Castle Chess Camp is held annually on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Now in its 22nd year, Castle Chess brings together top instructors and aspiring students for a week of intensive training and fun.

Castle Chess Camp requires a minimum USCF rating of 1100.  The minimum camper age is 10 years old.

In 2023, we had 92 campers from 21 states, with an average USCF rating of ~1750. The top group included campers rated 2075-2350, and the second group include campers rated 1965-2060.

Castle Chess also hosts the $12,000 Grand Prix Tournament the weekend after camp. The GP tournament is open to everyone.
