The Indermaur Chess Foundation is proud to sponsor Castle Chess through the Aditya Nicholas Dias Memorial Fund, honoring the life and legacy of a young player whose love for the game continues to inspire.
Aditya, like so many Castle campers, found joy, focus, and friendship through chess. Though his time with us was short, his enthusiasm lives on. Created by his family, this memorial fund helps more students—especially those with limited financial resources—experience the magic of Castle Chess.
Since 2019, the Indermaur Chess Foundation has helped launch over 125 chess clubs across 49 North Carolina counties, working with schools, libraries, and community groups to make chess accessible to all.
Through this ongoing sponsorship, we carry Aditya’s spirit forward—at the board, in the community, and in the hearts of every camper who discovers their own love of the game.
